Not trying to be stupid. Whats CEL?

Alright. I just bought a new Ralliart last night and found this page. I noticed how hard it is to find parts for this car. I work at an import shop and none of my vendors sell anything. But will all this reading I of course came across the RRM webpage. I'm looking into the downpipe and PB ecu. and was wondering on the downpipe was CEL is? I noticed that a couple this say they might cause CEL? It it something to be worried about?

yeah you can unplug the battery, or get a OBDII scanner (about $150) and you reset it using that (plug you might find it handy in the future). Or just got to Autozone and they will reset it for you.

Don't bother resetting... with downpipe it will always come back on. I have reset mine at least 5 times now, and every 1,000 miles or so, it triggers again.
