Hey guys i was just wondering if its normal for there to be a sound if the steering wheel is either in the full left or right position? like a small eeeeiiiiii? Just wondering if thats the power steering or is it something else? well just wanted to know if it was anything else or somehting to worry about?

 

Yeah, sounds like the power steering -- i wouldn't hold it there too long or you could burn it out. And how is it you are needing to turn an evo's steering wheel that far??

 

oh nothing... i was parked and i was playing with the steering and i heard that sound for the first time... What do u mean by long? How long is long? Secondly how would u know if its burnt out or not? well thanks for the reply!

 

you can feel it if its burnt out. I just try not to hold it there for anytime period.
