What do you guys think? Stock mazda 3 160 hp vs a lancer.. with a cold air, exhaust, headers, short shifter..

 

i would take a 2.3 mazda 3 w/ hid's over a lancer oz.

I think he means racing and I think if so the OZ is not going to win.

The mods you listed are almost exactly what I have except SR and you can see my 1/4 mile times below.

if you mean racing, that's a job for the ralliart. If you mean buying, id pick the mazda3 over the oz.

 

yeah i ment racing. i have that oz.. and my neighbors parents bought that mazda 3 and i think i can take it.. considering that i could take an si

i dont know... didnt really care. a guy from our club here in midwest... got it for use cuz he messed up his tranny racing an evo.. so i raced him on the meet when he brought it.. and it was even a manual.

 

LOL i dont think i ever seen an automatic si..you sure it was an si, cause they are pretty quick, unless you have serious mods done.

 

well im not that intrested in hondas.. i would never drive one.. so i dont know if they do come automatic or not. .alll i know is that one was a manual.. so yeah

as far as teh si question about the tranny they do come in autos but are very very rare and not sure what lancers run but the 99-00 si's only run low 16 high 15s and the newer ones are about the same and just to stick up for hondas real quick since i am a x honda owner and future evo owner the si will smoke you stock for stock and any mod you do and the si matches it will still smoke you no offense its just not a good car to compare your car to.
