windshield mounted pretty low in the middle. about 1 inch off the dash.
i want to hardwire it and put higher though. also the concealed display.

V1 already paid itself off 3 times...

i just hate putting it away everytime so it doesn't get jacked.

They are great. Saves me all the time. Mine is low on the windshield in the middle. I ran the wire from the fuse box up by the windshield. I use a valentine one and an escort zr3.

the higher you mount it, the more sensitive it is. got it off the valentine website...

I just bought 1 off the ebay.Got pulled over tonite trying to get home to get lucky .No luck,but freakin ticket...

 

I have it about 4 to 6 inches above the dash. I love it. Its saved me more then once. Plus it tells you where the signal is comming from..just amazing. Best christmas present I could ever ask for.

My county is pretty developed, so i figured the cops would only use KA and Lazer but to my surprise they use K to.I thoguht K was outdated. Found that out a couple nights ago on rt 40 hehe.

If you dont want to spend the money on the V1 I bought the escort passport 8500 and it works great.
