hey, first off forgive me for being dumb, but i know nothing about turbos, and this has bee driving me nuts:

there is a guy in a wrx driving around town in his 30 cent ebay muffler. but the point is, whenever he is going real slow (say 10mph) and not accelarating hard or anything (he couldn't be breaking 2krpm) you can hear his blow off valve go "pssshhh"

now, this doesn't make sense to me, cause he couldn't be going fast enough to spool it, so you shouldn't be able to hear the bov, right? unless of course he changed something


the reason i ask is because i see this kid everywhere, and its annoying as hell: i was behind him in drivethru and he was pulling up to the mic to order and i heard "psssh" and you couldn't even hear his engine through his fart can exhaust, thats how low his rpms were. so whats the deal?
