Gear ratio tweaking??
I've just got myself a new 2005 Evo 8 and have been modding it to the max with after market parts but I'm having problems with the gear rations.....everybody is telling me something different....
Not sure if this will help but here are some specs on it...
Max Torque: 377.6 ft-lbs @ 4.900rpm
Max Power: 430.9 bhp @ 6.950rpm
Here's how the gear ratios are set at the moment
1st 54.7 (mph)
2nd 82.1
3rd 113.8
4th 155.3
5th 188.4
6th 221.4
Now I haven't made any test runs but plan on using it primarily for racing
So back to my question......what would be my optimal ration settings?
