Question Question about mods

Is one company over all better than another, or do they basicly do the same thing? Like will you get different results from X company's product compaired to Y comapny's product? or are you just basicly buying a name/ and the reputation that goes with that name? If so, is it how the car is tuned and not the company's mods?

Do your own research. Lot's of it is the same and your only paying for the name, with other stuff you get better quality.

ECU tuning is a big part, no matter what parts you have if you didn't tune it, it just won't work to its potential.

Buying some HKS, Greddy, JIC...etc products are like buying their name brand more than quality and performance. I found out many domestic retailers...like TurboXS and Buscher has done the research when producing their own high quality parts. These things apply expecially but not limted to exhaust systems and intakes.

I would stick with proven named brand items for super important safety items like harnesses/harness bars, brake rotors, pads, suspension and internal engine items and to some degree...BOVs. Obviously maintence products should never be rationed..such as oil and all the lubes and fluids, belts, pumps, and injectors.

All in all, its your own judgement and how you value style, safety, performance, and reliability not for the mods in a whole but for each individual part you are putting on.
