HI folks - great site you have here. I'm going throught he painful car purchase phase again and am new to Mitsubishi but find myself loving the Evo. I was a longtime VW enthusiast with 86 8V GTI and 91 2.0 16V GLI both bought new, the GLI was modded heavily with motor and coilovers etc. The way your evo handles so quickly is how I had that car set up. I drove new STI twice and evo twice last week, the second time was back to back.... and I would go evo for sure. I thought my decision was made....

But now all of a sudden a 6K mile 2003 used evo shows in town and so I went and drove it last night. I need to know what the big differences are between the 03 and 05 besides this VIII has a sunroof (without 05s required S&S package) and does not have the center diff control. I would be looking at a $10K savings over new..... for a car in a color I did not favor with some miles . I do plan to add DP & Exhaust, Air intake and other goodies so I would feel better doing this to a car already showing some miles - plus the cost diff rationalizes me voiding warrantee - in my mind at least. Any help with this is appreciated.

If I don't get this used Evo than I think I would be getting a new S60R over the 2005 Evo
