Hey, i currently live in japan and will be moving to florida within the next 3 months. I recently sold my silvia k's and s14 silvia q's and began planning on what i should get in the states.

i drifted the s13 k's and that was great fun. I was wondering...what CAN the evo do? i don't want to risk drifting the evo and crashing it..but i might run it on back roads like i do here.

i heard the evo 8 was good for autocross...i really love drifting, but im also looking for something new, and that seems to be the evo8. I just wanted to ask, if you were in my shoes, would you buy an evo8 or some FR car?

im going to test drive an evo 8 while im in hawaii just to get a feel of it...maybe thatll persuade me.

where in florida are you moving, becuase here in south florida there are no backroads so to speak. Everything is straight.

what motorsports are evo's best suited for?

 

autox, drag, road couse, all depneds on how you set it up. It is excels at all from the factory. But say if you wanted to be really fast at the strip then, you might be sacraficing some handling.

 

I would say road course that seems to be where we break the most hearts however theres really nothing an evo can't do. (unless im driving it at an autox then it can't do crap)
