I'm in the process right now of saving money toward the car and I think that buying the car with my own cash (not my parents') will make my respect for the car that much greater. I turn 18 in a few days, and I have had my heart set on the Evo for a few years now. Yes, the car is a beast, the tires are expensive, the insurance must be crazy, but it's my dream of dreams to have one to call my own, and I'm making that dream come true by my own means.
Yea, i totally know what you guys are talking about. I was lucky enough that my parents bought me my first car, but in the end, (bout 3 months later after my 16th birthday) i "disrespected" the car. So now, helping out my parents with my replacement car, i have learned a great deal when it comes to respecting what you have, and working for what you want. And now, all i want is the Evolution VIII MR.
