Newbie here. I should blend in though, have owned many Porsches and selling my current 04 and will get an EVO when the math makes sense. That is for sure.

On to my question. I don't particularly want a big huge wing on the back. I know they work but I really like the low key RS sleeper look. Would the vortex generators still help without the wing. Couldn't you install something like a BMW 3 series lip spoiler to get some downforce? I would get an RS but I want leather, air, and power windows.

 

Once you get an evo, dont worry about the spoiler. I'll trade my oz spoiler for it

 

I dont know about lip spoiler's compatibility with the VG (I doubt it's compatible) but without a typical spoiler, VG will not work

Thanks, I like the Lancer spoiler look too. A bit less street racer looking.

 

VG is not effective w/ smaller spoiler. it is designed for use with the higher spoiler, you are better off not using the VG w/ small spoiler.
