wAS WOUNDERING IF SOME OR ANY OF YOU COULD TAKE SOME REAL NICE UP CLOSE PICS OF YOURE FMIC, Ive just recently noticed on my fmic that it has been spot welded on the left side on the smooth part right on the trim of the vented area and also around the pip on the left side of the intercooler. I really need some quality photos so that i can compair and take this thing in and let them know it was repaird at one point and possably get a new one.....I know it sounds **** but it kinda bugs me Hope you guys understand...tia for the help fellas

Oh and they will laugh at you. The FMIC is expensive and they will not replace it on cosmetics alone.

Is this common...and yes i will get it relaced...you might not have pull but I do!!!!
specialy if the weld is no good!! anyone else notice welds on there fmic

wow people are testy today.. 1 i have never seen that weld on our i/c s.. 2 did you pressure test the i/c to see if the weld is holding boost..

I also have that vertical weld on my ic, however, the pipe on the driverside is welded to the endtank atleast 1/4 way around from what i can see. Not the same side as yours. Probably nothing I hope
