lost my restrictor pill have pictures of pill that goes to solenoid? and how far do i have to push pill in? and what side goes into hose small side first or large side first?
please help

 

I just did this on Wed. I pushed the pill in large side first about 1 inch from the solenoid neck. It works fine. I was having large boost spikes without it. Hope this helps. P.S You can buy the whole vacum line set with the pill in it from Mitsu. for about $15 if you lost yours. Hope this helps.

 

ANyone got pics of this? I replaced my vacuum lines when I installed my boost controller and I havent had any problems but I keep reading about this.

 

Forget my advice. I am having problems boosting past 19 psi and I think it has to do with the pill. I just found this from another member.



Hey, I actually wrote that one down and drew a diagram when I took mine out.

The larger end of the pill is closest to the solenoid with the smaller end of the pill being closest to the engine.

Wow, all the years of paranoia finally paid off ... for somebody anyway.

Check it out any way just to be safe (gawd, I just can't kick the habbit)

OK I changed it to pargest end toward solenoid and it fixed my problem.
