Yes I have seen the same method looks decent if done right

 

there is no such thing as carbon fiber paint that you just spray on and itll look like carbon fiber like magic.. but if you insist on having carbon fiber "painted" on then you can paint the wing black or gray and then like fifty1fifty said, you have to find mesh shaped like the carbon fiber lines and spray over that with the opposite color.. i guess. but itll probably look horrible considering how much of the wing surface you have to paint.

i agree its a lot better to use carbon fiber vinyl wrapped around the wing. its like $20 or less for a whole roll of that stuff and you could use it to rice your car up into carbon fiberness.

why not just buy the real deal?

your best bet, is to find carbon fiber vinyl or carbon fiber sheets to overlay, but when you use carbon fiber vinyl, when you get it painted you can get them to clear coat over the vinyl to make it look original

 

well i wanted to get the rrm evo wing but they dont have it in cf...i'll probably just get the vinyl

 

Dig around in the Evo Vendor forums. Awhile ago there was a vendor in there selling CF Evo wings for a decent price. Or you could wait for another Evo owner to sell theirs. They usually go for below $500.
