Love the lancer would deff choose over a civic, You should go for the 2002 model, not much difference between the 2003, and wouldn't be worth the price, also a big thing to consider is the lack of power in the lancer, nice car but deff should have had a upgraded turbo engine in the o.z, so it isn't too good of an idea to get the auto tranny, cause you will have a huge power loss, and pick up will improve drastically with the 5 speed

Well, the difference is %2 financing for the 2003 and around 10 if I get the 2002 because its used. No new 2002s are available in the socal area apparently.

Are yellow cars cop magnets? The dealer has one with some aftermarket rims that looks pretty kickass. Actually considering yellow. (personality shift detected!) Thunder Grey or Yellow? hmmmm...

Looks like I am getting it tomorrow. Picked out a '03 OZ Rally with moonroof and the spoiler in the Thunder Grey. It wasn't in stock at that dealership so they are bringing it over from another dealership that has common owners. I refused to sign the documents until I saw the vehicle and could test drive it so tomorrow is the big day. I am so excited right now. Its 2 am and I have class in only 7 hours. W oh WTF am I going to do if they try to **** me in the end by raising rates or some bull**** like that! They approved me for 3.9% and I am so tripping that I am going to get there and its like 13.9%! WTF? Anyway, I am extremely happy right now so I am probably babbling. Will post pics ASAP.

Thanks Wizard. yeah, i am really excited. Going to go crusing tonight down the so cal coast. I looked at the info on the EVO but way too expensive for me, and I am only 21 so insurance is going to be ultra expensive. I like my car. I love it I love it I love it!

Guys I have a confession to make I once owned a Civic. That car was a 98 h.p. turd. If you put the AC on it was like hitting the brakes. I felt like I needed to rock back and forth to make it up a hill. Not even a cai made a difference. I got beat by a four door Civic in a race. I even got beat by the ice cream van. I am glad I bought my Lancer it is so fun to drive.
