Just wanted to say hi and show my new MR. I'm excited about having this car. I traded an AUDI A6 4.2 Quattro for it since that car was soooo boring. I needed a sedan (two young boys), fast, fun, hopefully reliable, and a nice sized trunk. I plan on tracking the car on weekends but it's my daily driver. The P-car will continue to be my garage queen. The MR is fast in stock form, much faster than the 993 I have. Doesn't feel quite as solid and well built as the Porsche but hey, its $35K less. I love the MR and hope to be adding mods in the future. Cheers!

Where are you at in Illinois? Do you ever go to Orland Park? There are some places the Evo's gather around there. From the looks of things, you probably work alot though to have that sweet house and the nice rides.

Congrats on getting an Evo to go with your Porsche. The 993 was an instant classic there's no doubt about it.

Most Porsche owners I know have such a severe case of marque loyalty they would never consider an Evo. I see the same kind of thing with my fellow Corvette owners. They can't understand why I like driving around in our Evo (technically my wifes's) car rather then our Z06. Well, it's because the Evo is really fun to drive and it's kinda sorta practical too.

I looked at an A4 thinking it might be better then the Evo but it was just too slow for me, and an S4 was too much $$$$.
