NooB: My new 05' GG Evo MR
Jhodel,
That's because many of them (I love generalizing) buy it simply for the prestige and the badge......it's a "look at me I've made it" statement; I guess it impresses the neighbours and their work buddies. The Evo is a fantastic (cult) performance car....fullstop. Hey, flame away, I've owned 4 Porsches but would gladly take an Evo any day of the week. BTW, don't have one yet, but I will before the year's out.

Welcome to the family, very nice set of cars you got there!!! I hope the porsche plays nice with the evo, especially since its an MR, it tends to bite back

jdoc7,
Very nice Porsche 993. which one is it? the carrera, the carrera 2 or Carrera4?, I am going to guess is a Carrera 2.
I had a 911(964 Carrera 4 Cabriolet) it was a lot of fun, unfortunately me and my wife(back them) use to argue a lot about keeping the car, now I don't have the Porsche nor the wife.
Anyway, what year is it? I hope you got the Varioram version(I could tell you inmediately if I see the intake). The car looks very low, I don't know if you decided to install upgrade lower springs or you lower the stock factory Porsche coilovers.
I was splitted between getting a used Z06, a used 996, a used 993 or the EVO MR, I ended buying the EVOMR.
Have you done somthing to the Porsche engine wise? the latest version 95-97 came with 282hp, the typical mod on that car was to remove the catalytic conveter bridge/resonator that goes from one side of the heads to the other side.
I ran my Porsche at SantaPod raceway(England) 13.79@99mph
