wether it be the 8 or the 9 some one has to have some input on this thread, i think it's drilled, could be wrong, but 90% sure it's drilled, so the question is how do i get one w/o the bracket installed?

In Canada, Alberta, the province where I live, we don't have front license plates. When I got my RA last year the holes where not drilled outand the bracket is still in a bag with my spare.

I suspect it would be similar else where. If you don't need front plates then the holes should be left undrilled.

the best thing about it is that my car's have out of state licence plate and move around alot....cops never bother me for this cuz they are not sure of that states law's. been doing this for years. my evo will be plated in a different state than which i will live in.

All you have to do is tell the dealer you don't want it and it shouldn't be a problem.

it's not that simple the cars are already on the lot and have the bracket installed.....hmmm if i could get ahold of one that hasnt been inspected yet for sale i might have a chance of not gettin it installed, but then again what are my chances of a brand new evo 9 not gettin rushed to get on the lot, on top of my chances of finding one that just came in

When I bought my 8, the bracket was in the trunk. But then again, here in AZ we only get 1 plate.

if it is already drilled...it comes with a rubber grommet so that there is not just a raw hole in the bumper.
