Thats your problem right there. Insurance in New Jersey is always expensive.

I'm 21, have 2 tickets on my liscence, and have yet to call to see about getting a price on insurance. Still in the looking and research stages of getting an Evo MR, but Im sure its going to more expensive then my current $140 a month.

I find it amazing how insurance can vary so widely based on location. In MI, I could never dream of owning an EVO right now. MI is no-fault state; so I think that plays into the factor.

I remember talking to a guy about 19 in OH who owned an EVO. He said his insurance was about $89 a month full coverage. He also said they did not distinguish a difference between a Lancer and an EVO either. I guess that also varies upon company.

In my own personal experience, I had a REALLY bad experience with Allstate. The upped my rate y $400 for no reason whatsoever. When I went to cancel, they tried to report me; even though I had no lapse in coverage. I've also had some other friends go through similar experiences with them. So I completely avoid them.

Good luck!

Esurance is the lowest...AAA raped me when i first got my evo then switched to esurance...it was 3 times less. I pay 1400 a year now and i got it when i was 23...no tickets or accidents. I have good coverage too...300k etc...

I feel for anyone under 25 that has insurance under them. I am under my Mom's insurance as a secondary and 1400/ a year for full coverage and 500 deductable with Nationwide. No accidents, no claims and only (1) 14 over ticket

I'm 20 and have been with Hanover Insurance since I got my first 03 when I was 18. Only paid like 130 a month. I destroyed it last year. Then bought another one and it only went up to about 160 a month now. Good company and take care of claims pretty quick.

I am very close to being able to afford an EVO RS, but if insurance is going to be $400/mo i definitely can not.
im 22 and under my parents and my insurance is 2564$ for 6 months........
