Well I've driven both cars and i've personally turned and enjoy driving the Evo more then the STI. Like what alot of the other people are saying it really depends on your plans for the car. If you are planning on doing some heavy modding then I would definitely go with the Evo because it comes with an awesome motor and one of the best turbos for a stock vehicle. the STI comes with a really strong tranny that can hold alot of HP and take a beating. I have a WRX now and I really regret not purchasing an Evo and thats why I joined this forum because I plan on getting an Evo before I start grad school in the Fall. The STI and Evo are both awesome cars, but it really depends on your plans for the car.

I would definately recommend test driving both (if you haven't already). I think after that it will make it a lot clear as to which one you want.

for that amont of money wait for new IS250/350 or the TL, you'll like the service better. I personally wouldn't suggest either the evo or STi until you have had a few more years of driving under your belt.

Couldn't agree more. Too many kids who just got their licenses or have had them for a year are buying cars they are just not ready for. Take the money and buy something a little more practical and take some driving lessons then you'll be better off.

ha, I know what you are referring to and it just so happens that the driver of that STi has some very serious ability.

I have 60000 plus miles on my evo and have not had one complaint. I also have the original clutch with no signs of crapping soon. I'm 23yrs.old and have owned the following cars 98 Cobra 00 WS6 Ram Air 01 Covette 01 281 Saleen supercharged and Acura Rsx and the evo is the best car hands down hope this helps. Leave the Subarus to Crocodile Dundee!!!!!
