quick question for the board, how long do your tires tend to last, what tires do you use, and what oil do you use?

 

It depends on how you drive for tires. For the stock Advans I have seen people with 20K on them and they still had some thread left. on the other hand with other drivers the Advans did not last over 3K miles but the average is 12~15K. Some people know how to drive (Even if you race you still can make your tires live longer if you know how to take turns and feel for the car).

Oil I have always used Mobil Synthetic on all my cars and its the best. You should change your oil every 3K miles for normal driving. I change mine every 1K because I race it.

Still running on stock YOKOHAMA tires 12k, when no more treads, planning to look at FALKENS, they got a really good report. Oil, I use Mobil 1 High Performance 10w 30. The oil cap "does" say Mobil 1 right. Runs really good and doens't stink like Castrol. Never use Qaker State, unless if you used it from the start. It contains a mixture of WAX. Even though it is advertised with our [B]NEMESIS the sTi. sTi [B]KILLA heheheh
