New EVO VIII owner! With a few Questions!
Ive seen you on TwinTurbo.NET quite a bit. Funny that we both ended up getting an Evo
I still got the Z, and i think we can both relate that in the power department the Z is insane. Among other things, Ive got the sport 530's on my Z and I LOVE the pull. Congrats on the Evo though man, hope to see you around here and tt.net !

Congrats on the Evo though man, hope to see you around here and tt.net !What is your screen name on TT.net. Yes I agree that it is funny that we both are converts to the EVO. My Z might be sold this week. I have a few leads!
The EVO is a great platform and when properly tuned can go heads up with most cars.
Look forward to running into you on both sites...

Probably dont know me from TT.net cause I never posted that much, every time I did people rarely had kind things to say
Thats one thing I didnt like about owning the Z, that there's so much hostility on the forums. But anyways my name was repins300zx.
Just wait till you take your Evo to a road course. Imagine your love for the car now, and multiply it by a thousand! I took out a very good racer (who's been racing for over 15 years) and he was STUNNED that my car was stock. In fact, he wouldnt believe me and made me pop the hood. I just told him look at the spedo and the fact that I have no plates!
I drive the evo day-to-day now, and I miss the RAW power the Z has. Im not sure how much hp your Evo has or how it compares to your Z, but I know that I sorta miss that strong pull from the 3.0L turbo. I took the Z out yesterday and its definitely a much different car than the evo, and I respect both! Your Z is beautiful and honestly, even I wonder why you're selling it
But like I said congrats on the Evo I hope you enjoy it as much as the Z or more! Us Z guys gotta stick together
TTYL!

I agree that the TT.net crowd are a little brash and that does push a lot of newbies away. I like the forums but dis-like a few of the people. The good people made it worth while though.
I do love my new EVO and it is already tuned and has about 340+AWHP. Here is the EVO that I bought http://www.cardomain.com/ride/737129
You are right the 300ZX TT has more brute force but the EVO wastes absolutely no energy at all.
Thanks and I look forward to chatting more in the near future.

I just recently purchased an 04 EVO VIII from a long time friend. The car had 10,471 miles at time of pick-up. He had it custom tuned by Turbotrix. The mods include RMR intercooler pipes/ HKS 264 cams both intake and exhaust/ wall fuel pump 255lph/ Intake/ Turbo back exhaust/ Turbo trix custom ECU flash/ ect... I know him and know that he takes good care of his stuff.
I look forward to all future interaction with the EVO community and hope to learn and contribute to the continued growth of it.

What is a good price for this EVO VIII?
He said that with his current mods the car should be making 340AWHP .
Does anyone else have simuliar mods and dyno sheets to share so that I can just reference them?
This is what I still have but I put it up for sell a few weeks ago. Links to it and a list of modifications. On the highway it is hard to beat. It had the potential to run low 11's in the 1/4 mile all day and with the right driver it probly could have dipped into the high 10's. I just out grew the car.
