What's up fellas - I'm a n00b to this board - but I don't drive a Evo. I drive a bolted 2004 Spec-V SE-R and I wanted to join this board to learn more about Evos because I eventually plan on selling my Spec and becoming an Evo owner.

I have envied the Evos (specifically the Evo VIIIs) for a while now - it's just a tad bit out of my price range; and I definitely envy the turbo and AWD - my car lacks both of these

I hope you guys will welcome me and think of me as adding some variety to the board since I don't drive an Evo. I just want you to know I think your cars own all and I can't wait until I eventually become an Evo man myself.

the spec v could be a real strong car. i wouldnt knock it, and i own an EVO if you turbo you can keep up or even pass us. if i was going to get an NA FWD car. the spec v would be it

Thanks dude - there's no doubt I love my Spec. I want to go turbo very much so; but there are 2 reasons I won't:

1. The kits for the Spec cost about 3-4 grand not including installation. (I'm poor)
2. The QRD25E engine does not take well to mods very well and the pistons and rods are weak...it would be almost impossible unless I completely rebuilt the engine to go above 10 PSI - the potential is not too great.

I appreciate the props for my car though - thanks guys.
