eibach spring questions

This spring kit is the best available for the Lancer if you plan to keep stock shocks. These progressive springs will enhance handling and give your car a lower stance! Note, these springs do not fit Lancer ES.
this was taken from RRM's website. is there an eibach kit that will fit the lancer? i want to get eibachs because of their experience and good rep. heard too much about progress springs and the noise. im getting my 17" mr7's by saturday w/ 205/40/17 yokohoma's and if the gap is small then im not going to get springs but if there is a big gap im going to get the springs. any help would be great!

There is no Eibach kit that will fit your ES. Plus you will have a bigger gap than Pearlwhite's pictures w/your 17's since you went with slightly smaller diameter tires.

you could also look at the tein springs that came out a month ago...no one has installed them yet...but tein is a great suspension company.

the springs will fit if you get front strut perches for the OZ. it's an extra expenditure. run a search.

lanceritiz has the eibach springs and i kinda like his drop better than mine. since the eibach's drop the car more in the front than in the rear, the car has that nice slop down. with progress, the drop is even and the car sits fairly straight. anyway, im getting the tien suspension in the summer, so the cheaper progress springs are fine.
