New to the board!!!

Well I shouldnt say im new, I have been surfing this site for a while just never registered.Everyone on the board seems really cool and hope to get to meet some of yous sometime at a meet. I've been in the DSM community for a while(97 GSX that ran 12.4's on a 16g, 97 TSI-built motor and all kinds of stuff). I just purchased a 05 EVO VIII on the fourth and love the car, the thing is awesome but things havnt been going well so far. Coolant hose cracked and leaked coolant all over the place so I had to have it towed to Mits and while it was there the lot guy back it into a rail(this car only has 400 miles on it at the time), so now im driving it with a sratched rim and the rear driver side bumper and door are all scrapped and damaged until the body shop of theres can take my car in on monday. Besides that crap I love the car and everything about it. Well enough of my ranting. Thanks for the space. Rich

I DONT MEAN TO YELL BUT WHATEVER YOU DO DO NOT TAKE IT BACK INTO THE DEALERSHIP. I need mt ds halfshaft replaced and i dont want to take it in. they did the same to me and just said oops, we didnt know that was there. and they let my antenna get stolen. damn 40 bucks. let them fix it and work on it yourself from now on. you can find someone that will be willing to help you do what it is you need to do but it looks like you know your way around a car so have fun. Congrats on the car. Mine is new to me too and I love it. I had a 6 and I think it is still the best car Ive had.

I have no prblem working on the car, I have built 3 of them. But if its covered under warranty I am gonna take advantage of it. The car still has to go back for the body work and better look like it did when I bought it 2 weeks ago.

i got worked at my local dealer. they said one time because work had been done on one side that that side was void. I said that was your damn fault. dealers suck. watch your car and dont let them testdrive it without you in it.
