just got an evo

hey everyone just wanted to say hi. picked up my baby last night. o3 tarmac black evo. paid 23 out the door, got it from carmax. since i work there i got a pretty good deal i think. she only has 12k miles. i ordered a intake this morning. just had a question if you guys could help me out with. catbacks iam torn between four of them. apexi n1,helix,hks hyper, megan. here is my exhaust setup let me know what you think.

3"helix downpipe
3" ur testpipe
and one of the above catbacks.
btw whats this 10.5 hotside everyone talks about.
one more question. would a apexi safc be good for tunning for now. can't afford aem ems yet gotta save for that. any opinions are welcome

congradulations. Yeah I believe that is a pretty good deal because of the miles. If sound is an issue for your exhuast their is an exhuast thread around measuring sound. 10.5 hotside is available on the 05 evo's.

Cancel that order on your intake - its not gonna help much - if anything it'll be detrimental since your looking to use a SAFC-II to tune ..

If I were you I'd get the HELIX or the Megan - both good quality and dont taper @ the cat ..

If your planning on using a SAFC-II for tuning you might as well get a fuelpump, injectors while your at it .. good luck and congratulations on your purchase!
