I got mine rotated, but not aligned at my first oil change, which I did around 4000 miles. My front tires were a little more worn than the back. They are close to needing replacing.

Unless you beat the crap out of them, then earlier (~2000 miles)...I went through mine in about 4,800 miles.

align it 2 degree front and 2 degree back for best road handling and pump up those tires psi, so the sidewall could grab like ****, yo.

...

the front is set camber at .8 i think, and the rear should be 0.5 i think.

i have to look at the manual tomorrow morn.

Stock alignment specs for 2003 Evo:

wheel alignment spec (front)

toe-in mm (in) 0+/- 2degrees (0.08)
camber (option1) -1degrees 00'+/-30'
camber (option2) -2degrees 00'+/-30'
caster 3degrees 55'+/-30'

Wheel alignment spec (rear)

toe-in mm (in) 3+/-2degrees (0.12+/-0.07)
camber -1degrees 00' +/- 30'
thrust angle 0degrees 00' +/- 0degrees 09'

I'd imagine they'd be the same for all years other than the MR as there were not any suspension changes between 03 and 05.

change synthetic oil every 2000 miles is crazy and a waste of good oil, not to mention money , these oils can last 15,000mi some more than that. unless your racing you car every minute its running why would you change the oil any earlier. MB, BMW, GM (Vette) all have been backed by Mobile 1 for extended oil change with manf. guarantee. now Dino oil is a different story.

The more you rotate them, the more life you will get from them. I have 3 track days, 2 autocrosses, and 15,000 miles of street driving and they still got a little more in them. And no I did not baby them at the track days. I was always one the the top 3 fastest cars there. The secret is having the right tire pressure.

I rotated my stock ADVANs at every oil change and I got 30K miles out f them. They all wore evenly. I drive mostly highway.

Gestalt and its so secret you cannot tell us the tire pressure. ????

Redcloud : the reason to rotate is for even wear, never heard the theory if you rotate them they will get higher mileage out of a 10,000 mile tire. mine were spent at 7800miles , they were rotated twice, they wore even but this didnt keep tread on the tires they were all bald. maybe its the Texas heat but i know my extra special cornering didnt help. you know the corner marker says 30mph this must mean double that to see what the real corner speed should be,
