FINALLY Part of the club
Well guys, after a year of looking around, I finally found the deal I wanted and pounced on it....Got a 2003 GSR (Black) with 560 miles on it, all stock- I'm still overseas but am going home on leave next month and am back home for good in about 5 months! Already bought an Intake, BOV, and Turbo Timer which I will install next month when I get back...The only thing that sucks about the whole deal is that my loan requires full coverage, so I'm letting my dad drive it to work a couple of times a week so that it's not just sitting and rotting- Sorta works out because I'm going to get him to get it past the 1k mile mark before I get back next month
....August is going to be the longest month ever- can't wait to drive it!

btw- I ordered the K&N Typhoon Intake and the Greddy Type S blow off valve- I've noticed some people having trouble with their cars stalling with the Typhoon after putting on an aftermarket BOV- should I have any problems with this combo?

The REAL mods are an exhaust and MBC w/gauge. Until you get these, the BOV is just an expensive noisemaker, while the intake will always be a power-reducer. I'm not saying ALL intakes suck, just that one. It's best just to get an inexpensive panel filter, but if you must have an aftermarket open-air intake, then make sure you also get a tune at the same time, so that the car runs properly...

Guys- first of all, thanks for the advice..
I wasn't aware that the typhoon sucked so bad. I got a good deal on it and just figured what the hell, but I'll listen to you guys, since you know alot more than I do about them and try to sell it...
