FNG checking in - I am waiting for the IX MR to release this fall and hopefully own a graphite grey by end of year. I am afraid of the intial mark up when they release . The Subaru dealership here is much nicer to me and are willing to deal on the Sti which makes it very tempting...

My backgound: I am 28, work in the IT field and live in Iowa. No kids, just a dog for now. The wife and I are also having a house built and the 3rd car garage will be perfect for the new "baby". I have a daily driver honda which I will always keep. Have plenty of mitsu experience having owned 2 DSM's and an alarming no. of gvr4's....

Anyways, hope to be a part of this community soon! For now, I will be more of a lurker

welcome aboard. dont listen to dafarmer, he's been up since 3 a.m. Good luck on the IX and whatever you do, don't settle for an STi because you'll always wonder "why didn't I get the better car?"

 

what.. you telling what i said isnt true.. its not very often we get people with knowledge who help out..

 

look, he doesn't even have an evo yet. he could be buying an STi according to his post. I would imagine that may be a reason why he doesnt want to jump head first into evom just yet. either way, he is underservedly getting flamed already.

 

I definitely plan on helping out whenever I can. I am new to the Evo and till I have one in hand, its a little hard for me to speak with personal experience. But, anytime I see a general post on suspension, turbos, tuning etc, I will make sure to jump in.
