With my regular lancer it makes certain noises like that, almost like a "thud" or "click" metal to metal.. but I think its my shock bottoming out and then going back up into the strut tower hard when I hit potholes. Stupid Michigan roads. But, its only done it ever since I got Eibach springs. I guess its normal from what everyone says though. Its been about a year now and been perfectly fine and handles like no other. =)

Ok so the dealer gave my car back first they thought it was the plastic things that go under the bumper so they removed them and went for the test drive and nope the clunking sound was still there so the tech person said that the problem maybe from the swaybar or they think the steering rack is hitting the front mount where the motor sits he says they have this problem in all of the outlander models and i think its true cause my mom has an outlander and it makes the clunking sound also he says they use rubber to seperate this parts so that they dont make contact but he told me they will do this when i take the car for the first inspection which is at 600miles hope they take that sound off i will keep you updated but still have to wait for that 600 miles i just have 250 miles on it maybe next week i will update something bye !!!
