Having to pay rent or a mortgage can turn that Mitsu Evo into a Geo Metro pretty quickly if you don't save wisely or make enough money.
I should know.
I lived in NYC for most of my life. Rent is sooooo expensive let along buying a house; the market recently has jumped through the roof.
That's why I moved.
Now I pay insurance for three cars + have a house with a mortgage for 28.5 more years.
Welcome to growing up.
BTW, I'm 28.

theres few Evo's (only seen 2 in the last few months), guess the car isnt selling at all down here
i just turned 19, but ive owned my house for over a year now. i try to be smart as possible with my money. and because of this i was able to simply write a check for my EVO. i always wondered what the hell my mom ment by "the real world" i thought that i lived in the same world as 40 year olds, but trust me kids i hate to say it but there is a "real world" where mom doesnt cook dinner, or even put food in the fridge for that matter, and its full of late bills, ungodly interest rates, overdrawn checking accounts, mass amounts of overtime. and lots of bad things happening that you'll never be able to afford. i decided about six months into it to just sit back and laugh at myself cause otherwise id prolly be suckin on a 12 gauge popsickle j/k
