We dont have a phone line because we try to maintain phone calls to a minimum. I have been in the import scene for over a decade now and know how it works. Not saying at all that the EVO community is this way, but just in general. Plus our main objective is not selling parts, but building cars, chassis, roll cages, and many more custom fabrication parts. Selling off the shelf parts is just a plus for us.

The Civic posted in our website are 2 great guys and good friends of mine that campaigned there car throught the NOPI NDRA series and NHRA Sport Compact series in the Turbo4/Sport FWD class. Im sure they put street tires on, the can put a good hurting on some street cars

And now I am replying to your post and or else what

Anyone can contact Skunk2 directly to verify anything they want. 951-808-9888.

We are not here to play keyboard commando, we are only here to benefit you to get for what you paid in products, sales, and service as much as we can offer.

You and your sources and me and my sources... should your sources' ideas match up with mine and should my tech installing the cams approve of them and tell me that they won't ruin my engine or decrease my engine life much if at all... then we're good... Should that not be the case, then I would expect you and Skunk2 to back up your products. HKS and Buddy Clubs and JUNs all have proven data that they work, and the JUN's have proven data that shows that often the valve springs need to be strengthened. Depending on the price you're asking for people to risk their engines, I'd totally be down... ~280 dollars for install, free+shipping for a mail-in reflash, and <300 dollar 264/264 unproven cams would be just fine in my book especially since I do really want cams... But I prefer 450 dollar proven cams. I really am not trying to fight here, I'm just trying to say that the offer isn't worth it to me to pay a little less for cams without knowing at least 90% that they aren't going to break/break something.

I don't even need to know who you are, or your mother's maiden name, or any of that... All I need is a box with your shop's address and 2 cams with the Skunk2 logo on them and a part number for both and a phone number for both your shop and Skunk2... that way, should it end up being a major rip-off (not meaning making 0 more power, but meaning damaging something or other or not even working in the Evo for some reason or another) I know where to go to get my money back, and have two sources for contact in case one fails to comply with the 110% standing behind their products.

First, start by telling us your name and the name of some of your associates and how you got started with hybrid-perf. C'mon now, you can't slip us the tongue on the first date.
Well the company Hybrid Performance is new but we have worked with many many people in the past. I myself worked retail sales in the import market starting in '96 in California. Moved back to Florida in 2001 and continued to do sales in the retail aspect and also wholesale.

As far as companies go, ive dealt directly for many many yrs with AEM, GReddy, HKS, Tanabe, Skunk2, Volk Racing, and the list goes on.

Hybrid Performance was started in 2004 with goals of providing our and my years of experience and with soon collaboration with a well known racer/tuner, we will soon team up to begin innovating, fabricating, and developing many many new parts and services. I personally myself have tons of references under my belt and if anyone needs them to verify who am I and what I am capable of accomplishing, please do not hesitate to ask. Im not here to brag or step on anyones toes, I just want to open up new horizons, meet new people. We have been mainly too focused on Honda's & Nissans for many years now and personally I have always been a big fan of the 46G3 motor

If anything needs to be asked, please feel free to attack me in anyway

Like I said previously, we can keep going back and forth and back and forth, but these cams have already been dyno'ed, tested and tried. We put this offer on the table if anyone is wanting to give it a shot for the intro price both us and Skunk2 is offering. Through some emails I got, some are highly interested, some are not. It is highly recommend that your cylinder head be built, ie. dual valve springs, retainers etc. Valve clearance is not an issue. Timing must be properly set etc etc etc.

I understand if you are doubtful and dont want to take the plunge but some guys do understand the risk of modding a vehicle in the first place.

Highly recommended that your cylinder head be built... that is all I wanted to know, they require more work than others... how about posting the dyno graphs and some test results?

It doesnt hurt to have it done since your are running 272 duration cams. Its only highly recommend but still at the end its up to the user.

You say you back your products 110% yet you dont post a contact number on your web page. Yes this really makes me feel beter now that now you really dont want to talk on the phone to a parts customer that is really just a PLUS to your bottom line.

As for the civic I just wanted to know what it runs on street tires and a pump gas tune. since you guys paraded this car all last year you have had to at least ONCE run it down the 1320 on pump gas and street tires dont forget you are on a Evo forum but anyway it just seems that whoever you are you are jumping on the Evo bandwagon trying to make some extra cash to fix your fwd Honda

people are asking you what your name is and yet you refuse to answer. wtf? you also welcome people to "attack you in any way", but again, nobody has your name. there are lots of vendors here, but, the people that represent those vendors have names attached to their posts, like david@vishnu or whatever. so again... what is YOUR name?
