Tire rotation

Well this may be a stupid question but how do i rotate my tires. I dont want to pay $40 for it at Like what type of rotation pattern should i use? (back tires to front, front to back or a X pattern)?? And would there be anything else i would have to do with the wheels. sorry for the noob question. thanks

Front to the back and back to front, so rear passager goes to front passanger and front passager goes to rear passager. You can't switch sides due to rotation directional tires.

walmart rotates your tires for $4.

but bring your torque wrench and make them use it, their impact gun might cross thread your studs.

When most places say rotate they mean the entire wheel .....not the rubber.....On the EVO when properly rotating tires they need to be removed from the rims and swapped over to the other side of the car and remounted. Otherwise you will wear out one edge of the wheel.

Or try michelin pilot sport 2's and double your mileage.Best for last: no noise...
