yea, not to much you can do on this one...asides from coming up with something creative or getting a lawyer. Although I dont know how much it would help..

boy you must have some bad luck running into a cop like that, or you must do it often... in any case it would probably be in your best interest to consult a lawyer for advice, that is if you dont want to lose your license.

If you have the funds, get a lawyer. Not sure how they handle wreckless driving tickets in your state, but if the fine is only $105, it doesn't sound like anything too serious (ie something you can pay a lawyer a couple hundred bucks to get you out of)

Where did you get the ticket at and who was the officer (State, sherriff or local) and what township he worked in. I know a couple of cops in the pitt area.

Same thing happened to me a few years ago, he wasn't happy seing a car coming head on to him, but he let me off due to having the same birthday as me!!! Very lucky day.

I would try getting reduced to crossing a double yellow, and drop the reckless if you can. Good luck

get an attorney

I am an attorney in Virginia (so i can't help you where youlive) but I always say, for a reckless driving ticket, get an attorney, 95% of the time we can do something to help the situation (ie. lower the points you get) and the end result for your insurance rate is much cheaper than whatever fee i usually charge

Only $105 for a reckless???? Damn, when I was a kid, I got one of those, it cost me over $300, plus a class, plus suspended license. Lesson learned, at least.

hes right, i had a lawyer i had 3 of these tickets. 1 was chirping into 2nd gear in an s2000, the other was 34 behind walmart, its like a back street with a 15mph posted sign. They always find ways around it. I got off first ticket because tires were 1 day old and we blamed it on the fresh rubber and i had receipts to show they were 1 day old. my other got off because the 15mph sign wasnt posted directly on that private street, it was on the one over from it. and they gave me unsafe vehicle for that one. but if u got the cash i suggest a lawyer for sure..
