Unhappy RS took OFF!

Well guys and girls it's been a while since I last posted something up in here and I have to say, times have caught up with me and I have to say it.... but I guess I'm growing up!

These last 3 months have been crazy. Between work and home it's just been off the freakin walls!

Well a long story short I sold my 04 Evo RS! but I'm in contract on buying my 1st house!

My best friend who owns an STI was ragging on me because I got the RS first and not the house. Well again times caught up to me and something had to go! My wife was like it has to go! no if and or but's, it has to go. Me being the primary on the mortgage well I saw the numbers and it was true I could not afford to keep it and jugle the house at the same time. Rs was making a dent in my finances and that's were I'm at today. No more Evo Rs.

I'm now a proud and discriminating owner of an 05 Hyundai Elantra GLS 5-spd "Not a bad car by the ways, excellent MPG's" paid in full.

How much did I get for my 04 Rs you guys are saying?????

Well happens that a buddy of mine in L.I. who's boss is a fanatic of high performance vehicles saw the pic of the Rs and I have to say I got lucky, he asked my buddy if I was selling it. Again long story short guy bought it! Mind you this was all went down within the last month. RS sold for $25,000.00 plus I paid the bank off an additional $2,500.00 "pervious balance from an 04 Spec-V" I wanted 26K but it had 15K miles on which he really didn't care for, he's unfortunatly gonna mod it for track time Car was excellent the way it was. Well he's the new owner now.

I have to say that I felt bad in a way but good knowing that a part of me grew up and said F!@# it! It's just a car but then the other bad *** side of me said SH#@!
Now I see an Evo on the street and man my hairs curl up!

I told my wife that the first chance I get, I'm getting an EVO! NUFF SAID, Laterz everbody for now.....

Well if you live where I live (San Francisco) a house is something in the distant future. A 1 bedroom condo will cost $500K and most likely parking will cost extra every month. Until I can save up a pretty big sum of money, homeownership is not a possibility.

Congrats on the home purchase. It is a better long term investment than any car.

Funny Bunch

You guys are a funny bunch, "get ride of the wife!" That was a good one. Hey I'm sure I'll be back soon. As soon as the finances straighten out hell I'll be back into getting that on ramp "RUSH" or is it "WHOOOOSSSH" ....

Who knows were the Evo's going the next couple of years but I'll be on top of it. I'll still log on from time to time to see what's going on in the world of Evolutionm.net....thanks for all the heads up!

Laterz for now....
