New member here...just got my evo on Monday and have been driving nonstop to get those breakin miles over with (and also cuz its rediculously fun!). This car is amazing even keeping it under 5k rpm, so I cant wait to really open it up!

lol i remember when i got mine that same day i almost broke my neck!!!

 

I was actually dissappointed going over 4000rpm, (i kept breakin rpm's under that). The evo feels slower (stock) on top than my dsm. Then again my dsm isn't stock.

nice car, those tail lights need to be replaced.

 

same thing with mine but that was the cheap 87 octanes they put at the dealer
put 93 after that first tank and boom!!! boost up to redline now

 

also double check the hoses, IC, BOV ETC....

Congratulations....... I'm sure you will enjoy it. I have had mine for a month and have already got 2300 miles on it. Break in was done by the second day.
