Thanks for the advice for the deck, I just put the alpine in. I'm debating if I should put in my alpine 170A speakers, but I have no clue how to remove the door cards.

 

the stock speakers are fine if you get a head unit that has a high pass filter (HPF) so ur highs and mid (stock speakers) dont get any low (bass) fq. I have an 05 and went to bestbuy and had no problems getting a harness, if they say something stupid just say you need it for an 04 EVO, i bet it will still work. (Same stereo)

Congrats on the car. What car did you have previously, and what mods where on it. You seem to be changing stuff on the car pretty early, not that thats a bad thing lol. I envy you. If you ever want to trade for a 05 OZ strait up, I am your man!

dude i just love the CF that runs across the dash...looks hella sick....can't believe that that's factory!

 

I don't think it's real carbon fiber but I also like it there, It changes up the boring dash a bit. I'll try to snap some pics of the car with my alpine deck and my red dash. Does anyone know how to remove the front mitsu emblem on the IX?
