congrats, me too...im not so much comparing as much as making a point and ur kinda gonna help me prove it...how often do you see noobs get hassled there? almost never, if they have a question its not "oh ur a noob go look it up" or buzz off...i understand size matters in senarios such as these all i am saying is that how can a person possibly feel welcome here if all they see is gettin torn down. this isnt just personal accounts; i talk to all sorts of ppl from the meets, to pms, emails, etc. that are greatly offended with how the site works...in all honesty i understand how you feel with 60K+ members because then it gets hard to knit pick and correct EVERYONE that gets out of line...i can garantee about a month or so ago i would have taken a whole mess of flak just because i posted something like this...im not faulting anyone or saying there is a blame involved i would just like to put my 2 pennies out for ppl to read and possibly see the other side of the story..."there is 2 sides to every coin" so the way i interpreted it..maybe not the way everyone else did...is maybe i was a little more offended than the usual person...and i didnt even get knocked for being new...(that also has to do with the fact that i didnt comment on things that werent any of my concern and i usually only post information that i know, so to better help the next man.)
again im not sayin this site is bad or ppl shouldnt be here...this is one of the few places i can find refuge too...but when i see trashin that goes on...it gets under my skin...i usually hold my tongue too. i dont get senior-itis either i dont treat as i was treated...ppl wanna trash me i can take it...but i dont pass it down. i give it back.
