EVO vent on hood...

How does everyone deal with the rain water that drops into the engine compartment from the hood vent? I ended up buying a car cover to keep the rain out.

Why would you get a car cover to keep water out when the car isn't moving? The only potential worry would be lots of water getting on the hot head or exhaust manifold, but even that is not a problem. The vent has louvres designed specifically to limit the intake of water when driving in the rain...

What you think none of us drive the car when it rains? What about rally cars that race in every weather condition?

I think that is how one of the members here burned his car up with an engine fire, after forgetting to remove the towel lol.

You might want to keep using the cover for other more pressing problems, tree sap, bird sh*t, the neighbor's cat, ..., etc.

I've seen cars driving with no hood at all.
