whats the advantage of getting a 99 looks the same as a 97-98. Same everything else might have lower miles and will just cost more. I bought my 97 with everything already done to it and a blown head gasket for $4,000.

I doubt your going to buy an evo for under 20K.. sure you can find someone who desperately needs to sell and you can low ball them for that amount... there is nothing else anywhere in the price range that you could replace the car with that would have the same performance..

Nothing I have found STi's go for the same as Evos and I dont like them as much. I will just keep the GSX till I can afford a Evo.

This EVO is a clean car and he can work on the price a little bit:

It is less than 60k and has a good few starting mods. I am positive you can find a decent EVO for the 20k range. Best of Luck!

Can anyone comfirm that I can get a good condition Evo with under 60K miles, for under $20,000. Thanks for the help and hopefully I can afford one now, if not I will wait a few more years.
i wouldn't trust the autotrader too much... some of their 'for sales' are wayyyy to good to be true
