Question Warrenty?

Ok I'm a newb so bare with me I just bought a brand new 05 RS and would like to modify it a little. But my question is what can I and what Can't I do to the motor with out voiding the warrenty I don't want to swap turbos or any thing but would like to put like a BOV and a boost controler and or a tune maybe some new I/C piping and cold air intake and exhaust. Well be gentle this is the first time posting and owning a turbo car my last car was a ford focus so it is a big difference but would still like that extra go power. Thanks a head of time for any help.

check with your dealer. I just got a IX, and my dealer said that coilovers would void my warranty.{Not that i care! soon i will void it} It all depends on the dealer. Have fun with your new ride, i know i am !

Well since it's your first turbo car, and it's a evo. You don't need the BOV (the IX comes with a very good one stock, and you don't need a cai unless your making some descent amount of power. I think you would be better off with a MBC, turboback, and a reflash. But anyways back on to topic. Ask your dealer what they think about mods and the warranty. My local dealer says basically don't touch anything, not even a cai. But then my other local dealer says just don't do any internals and we'll cover you.

Here at Biggers Mitsubishi, they told me that I could modify anything but if that aftermarket part causes the problem then they won't cover me under warranty.
