Below 1.5 bar Low Boost?

First Post !
My Service teck said, the cars fine over the phone. It feels like it's not pulling that hard past 5500 rpm's the gauge reads 1.3 then dives down after it peaks. proBABLE NORMAL rIGHT?

Yes, boost taper is normal... If it tapers to less than 17PSI, I'd start worrying... If it bothers you that much, an MBC, or upgraded wastegate actuator along with an MBC will aid in curing boost taper. If you go that route, don't forget to tune.

Exactly how it should operate. There is a built-in boost taper that drops you down to 17psi (1.2bar) by redline. Also, the factory tune goes EXTREMELY rich after 5500, which robs you of even more power. 2 of the most useful mods are an MBC to keep the boost from tapering and a tune that gives back all that robbed power from the factory.

thanks for the response, the thing that was making me trip, was that it wasn't going over 1.2 or 1.3 at all
