Newbi questions

Ok looking to put a turbo back on but I want something that isnt super loud or "weedeater" sounding.

Also what mods need to be done to put a BOV on? And with an aftermarket BOV is there going to be noticable powerlose? I reallyl ike the sound yea caller me a newbi all you want but i like the "woosh". And what BOV will go on without weilding.

Go with the Buschur cat-back and you don't really need a bov until you are pushing high boost. The stock one holds boost just fine. Any aftermarket bov will go on the evo without welding. If you want the whoosh then get VTA (I don't recommend because of stalling issues) but you can just go the alternative which is to keep stock or get a recirculating bov with a intake and a tune. This way you can hear your bov.

If you put on a cone style intake (tuned of course ) you'll hear very well the turbo spool and blow-off. It sounds good stock...

Agreed on the cone style filter. VTA is not a good idea with a MAF car. Not worth the headache of the stalling.

Here's a vid of one of my employees driving my car at the track. Due to his inexperience with driving a turbo car and keeping it in boost, you can hear the stock spool and BOV:
