I thought Wicked White was just people from New England changing it from the Weightless White cuz its wicked awesome!

 

What do you care? Why are you even in this thread, youve posted three things all equally worthless. I am interested in this thread because I am ordering a bumper and was curious about this too. I read the new 06's are called igloo white and wondered if they had changed the color a shade.
As long as the manufacturer code is the same it doesnt really matter what name they give it. I would check and see if all the whites are w37, if so then they're all good.

 

Me personally, didn't want to look like an idiot and not know the official paint color.

 

sorry to flame here, but uh, who cares? if someone asks you what color your car is are you going to look like a jack *** and you say wicked white? no, your just going to say white.

I dont know why car companys insist on naming theyre colors such rediculous names, its like their revenge on their mom because they got the 64 pack of crayola crayon colors instead of the 128 pack

My 06 window sticker says Wicked White, FWIW.

 

They changed the names because they figured the Evo deserved more exciting names befitting of its rally heritage.

Lightning yellow is lightning yellow on OZ, RA and Evos, as is Graphite Gray. '04 Evos have the same color names as the more pedestrian Lancers do. Rally red changed its hue and is different (code) between '03-'04 and '05-'06.

I admit names like that can become tedious, but they can't just say "red" or "Blue" and leave it that, or else it would become waaay too confusing after all the shades start piling up. However, I hate it when I'm filling out paperwork and the marketing name for a car doesn't even include a base color word within it so you can abbreviate it for a purchase contract. Honda is even worse. What color do you think "Sage brush pearl" would be?
