Where u from. BTW Just PM Warrtalon he is the Evom guru on such matters. Also if u have a dumb question don't search for the answer PM Warrtalon. Last part was a joke BTW! Don't do it unless u want an Evom flogging.

Going from FWD to AWD is big step. First learn how to drive the car before you touch anything else...otherwise you just might find yourself wrapped around a tree.

Slow in, fast out.

AWD will "sort of" feel like FWD when you enter a corner, if you have an Evo 8, watch your entry speed, if you have an Evo 9 it responds well to throttle input. This if for "safe" street driving.

Just go drive the thing in the twisties, and remember you can kill yourself quite easily in this car because it's much faster than any street based FWD car will ever be....meaning it will fool you into thinking you can handle more than your abilities.

AWD doesnt do sh*t unless you're on the throttle, meaning don't get overconfident that you can handle corners any better than FWD.

Put many thousands of miles under your butt so you can feel what the car is doing, then you'll be able to do things that FWD can only dream of.

Yup, and it is sort of stereotyping that people will think u wanaa street race them even when you just enjoying driving on the highway, its like the evo will pick up lots immature dude that want a piece of u +_+

first you will want to read lots of stickys to gain as much knowledge as possible and drive your car a lot to get familiar with the way it feels. Im coming from a RWD 240sx so AWD is a lot different. Im slowly getting more used to the car as time goes on. You can find an OEM carbon fiber spoiler on the evo 8's, they changed it to ABS plastic on the 9's. Not sure how much the spoiler is from the dealership but you can either find it there or im sure someone is selling one from their car. And dont forget to search because everyone is going to be telling you that, so search it up and you will find all the info you need

The IX still has a hollow carbon fiber spoiler, although the pieces that hold it may be plastic...???? They also added this thing called a wicker bill that looks like an extra lip on the back of the spoiler for extra downforce (costs extra unless u get the MR, then it comes standard). I think the spoiler itself is roughly $1000 from Mitsubishi, but dont quote me on it- its an option with the RS models, so you can probably call a dealer or check the mitsubishimotors.com site.
