hey guys! just thought i d introduce myself.. I been surfing EVOM for a while now for probably the past 8 months! But I never signed up, always viewed it as a guest haha finally I joined an now I can post! I dont have a Evo yet but i will in the future! I would get the EVO 9 MR now, but I dont think i should, i am in the army, and we are going to be deploying in july to iraq for about 6 to 8 months! i got a year and half left in the army, once i come back from my deployment i'm definintly picking up a Evo, i hope when i return in late 2007 they still have Evo 9s available for new, i dont want to pick up a used evo, and i dont know if i ll like the Evo 10. My friend got me into Evos, he has a 2003 EVo 8, i ve driven his serveral times an after that i ve always wanted one! any ways just thought i d say hi! also this is a great site with alot of great information!

wait till you get back from over there and get a brand new one, save your extra pay, and you can buy it straight out cash! Its not like they won't get new IX's in throughout the year, so there should be plenty.stay safe

 

Thanks man! will stay safe for sure! yup i would love to get the ix now.. but its just not worth because we may just up and leave and if you are in the military you know what happens to your vehicle if you live on base, you store it at some motor pool,while your gone, an it aint safe.. 99% of the time your car will get broken into while you are deployed! so i will definitly wait! and by it cash because i will have saved up plenty while i m gone!! I just cant wait till i get one! for now i will just keep reading about evos an learn more about them, so when i get one i will know exactly what i want to do with...

yup i hope the IXs will be around in late 07 still! because i really rather get that one that over an X, i wont really know if i want an X till i test drive one or see one in person! its soo tempting to get the IX right now, because finanically i can afford to buy one now, but i got to wait till i get out the army, i wont have much time to enjoy it though if i do get it now, soo thats the only thats making me wait! but it ll be worth the wait! Just hope these IXs are still producing till about late 07! I really dont want to buy a Used IX i want it to be new.
