I went at Mitsubishi dealer to have more information about the 9.

The salesman told me that the Mitsu is importing some EVO 9 MR from Japan.

I'm confused now because I tought that JDM EVO 9 is only available in RS GT or GSR form.

Is there a JDM 9 MR?

 

hmmmm.... that sounds funny... well if its true we all might find the hidden secrect about the crashbar for the JDM 9 rear bumper ^^. Then ill buy one for my 9 MR.

 

there is no Evo 9 MR in Japan as the MR had been discontinued for the world market except for the US. you are correct, only GSR (RHD only), GT (RHD only), and RS (both LHD for the Euro Market and RHD).

well, the evo is built in japan and shipped over here. maybe thats what hes talking about.

none because they are limited to Asia and some Euro coutnries. The LHD models are available only for the RS or RS2. It had been that way since the CN9A (Evo 4) body

 

UMMM...HELLO! YES they have MRs in Japan. You know why? Becuz That is where they are Made Silly...All of Our Evos are 100% Japanese parts and 100% Assembled In Japan...So YES, They are shipped From Japan to the US.

Yes I know you are talking about the JDM Spec Evo. They only have the RS, GT, GSR. Yes they don't have any MRs in Japan. However ALL EVOS ARE MADE in Japan so Yes, the Salesman would be right about it being shipped from Japan. <---This Passage was made to one of the Posts Above.
