I do hear a very nice sound from AMS's Tial BOV which vents and runs 9's. I dont think that is a detriment to performance.

And AMS is running a standalone ECU with no MAF, which is the whole point. You do understand the difference between a 9-sec fully-built Evo with standalone ECU and no MAF...and a stock Evo with stock ECU and stock MAF, don't you?

 

Yes I do understand. But we were not talking about the technicalities of the car. You were just refering to BOV sounds in gerenal on all Evo's.

 

No, I wasn't. I'm talking about any MAF-equipped Evo, and you know that. Get real, man, you're just looking for any way to take a shot at me like always - you've been doing it for a while for whatever reason. You know I know that a VTA BOV is fine on certain setups and those complicated setups have nothing to do with this thread or anything within it...

Thanx for the advice Bruno, but the first thing i'm going to buy is a turbo timer and a boost control. Then I'll go from there, and to all you haters out there, you can only find things out by trying it, and unfortunately I found out the hard way. Oh yea I went to Sams Club and bought in bulk some DeRicer, thanx for the heads up!
