New member here

Hi everyone, I’m a new member here, and new to the whole Mitsubishi thing.
Just bough a new EVO IX , it should get here in a couple of weeks or so.
To make a long story short, my cousin bought one with 3 basic mods, he got 335whp to the wheels.
I drove it, and that’s when I decided; I have to have one.
It will be mainly my daily driver.

Since I don’t have it yet, here’s some pics of my other daily driver.

time slips in my sig

I swear I wont mod this one.

Welcome to the group. Nice VW, if I could only get my sister inlaw to mod her jetta like that. She has driven my evo and loves it. Ill show her yours and maybe then she'll believe me that the 1.8t is a good platform.

Welcome; Jettas are nice, but EVO is a different, meaner animal.

What's up man, I've seen you in the tech thread on Vortex a lot.

I'm on there some but I'm always posting about some kock gremlin not liking my boost, or some timing gremlin not liking my nitrous.

Hope you're keeping the jetta around for a while too.

I'm still using my WE as my daily and working on a 1G DSM project car. I'll get an Evo or similar eventually, but I'm not in the market anytime soon.

lol.

btw, What color evo'd ya order?

Thanks everyone.

the Jetta is staying, there is too much time and money into it to just let it go.
let me put it this way, what I spent on mods alone is enough to get me a new evo.
making a car go fast is one thing, making it go fast and daily driver dependable is another.
considering is came from the factory with 150bhp and ran 16.0@86mph stock.

The new EVO is blue too.

Your cousin is smart and so are you. You can definitely get that same power on your IX with 3 basic mods just like him, and those mods are listed in the package in my sig for only $1270. IXs just own our VIIIs, and it sucks for us!!

True, but when one doesn't have to pay interest on an 8 saving ~$4500-5000 in the 60 months, it's still worth it

0% financing rocks, but the IX still rocks harder!
