Finally bought an Evo IX... pics inside

Congrats! GG is my favorite color actually. (It wasn't an option in my situation)
I went for a 2005 VIII because the price was right at the end of the year with the IX's already in stock. (Not many people get to drive an new EVO for 28k)
I've had my car for about 4 months now... and I still can't tear the smile off my face every time I drive it.
I'm not sure what you drove before... but it took me a few weeks to really get used to driving a car like this. (I never owned a sports car... let alone a high-end street machine).
You're gonna have a blast! (Get used to random sports-car wannabees revving and challenging you on the highway
).

Wow, didn't know they made the GSR in GG. Love that color and congrats on the purchase. I envy you dude. I want an Evo so bad but even the used prices are a tad too much for me.

My IX costed 28,999 before tax & lic.
Everybody, thanks for all the kind comments!
Since I started driving, I had a 1995 Honda Accord EX coupe (to which I added intake, custom catback exhaust, Skunk2 coil-overs, Tokico shocks, and a carbon fiber hood), a 1994 Isuzu Rodeo LS (originally belonging to my dad, I drove this after I sold my Honda in October 2003), and a 1998 Mercedes-Benz E320 (originally belonging to my mom, I drove this after the Isuzu started having some problems). (I also taught myself how to heel-toe in my brother's 2000 Honda Civic EX coupe and in my friend's 2000 Honda Prelude Type SH.) Although my Honda handled pretty decently, none of the cars I've had in my possession were really too sporty, but in the E320 I turned off the ASR often to figure out the handling dynamics of a RWD car.
I know what you mean. So far, everyone who I would've thought would challenge me usually just waves or gives me a thumbs-up... that includes a C6, SRT-4, and WRX so far, among a lot of regular cars. (There was even a lifted truck tailing me on the freeway taking pictures.) But at a stoplight, some *** in a '60s V-8 Mustang peeled out going the direction opposite of me
